AQA Psychology Paper 1: What to Expect and How to Answer

Paper 1 rewards precision. Examiners are looking for accurate terminology, clearly identified studies and evaluation that goes beyond a single sentence.

For 16-mark questions, use a consistent structure: six marks of description, then ten marks of evaluation built from three developed points.

Each evaluation point should state the issue, provide evidence, explain the implication and finish with a judgement about the theory as a whole.
